Swad's 'Reet Good' Art Exhibition & Trail

Thursday 20 March - 27 April 2025

Swad's Reet Good Art Trail is inspired by words and phrases unique to our town. Submissions from artists, community groups, schools and individuals are displayed throughout town forming a trail. As part of the trail, there are hidden letters to collect.

Collect an entry form from Swadlincote Library, the South Derbyshire Visitor Information Centre, Sharpe's Pottery Museum or People Express. Explore the trail and find all 10 letters. Unscramble them to make a local Swad phrase. Take your completed entry to the South Derbyshire Visitor Information Centre, Sharpe's Pottery Museum or People Express to collect a bag of 'truffies' (sweets) and be entered into a prize draw to win a £25 WH Smith Gift Voucher.

Huge thanks to everyone who contributed to the Swad 'Reet Good' Art Exhibition & Trail. The trail will run to Sunday 28 April 2025. The winning entry will be selected at random on Monday 29 April 2025.

Thank you to Burton & South Derbyshire College Performing Art School, Swadlincote Library Crafternoon Group, Church Gresley Craft Group, Matt A, Kelly W, Graham C, Sophie T, Jenny S and other artists for your contributions.
